ABOUT ME

I am an emerging fashion designer based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Last year I graduated as a top student from the Bachelor of Design (Fashion) programme at Otago Polytechnic. I have been selected to take part in the first 'New Grad' show as part of New Zealand Fashion Week in August 2016. This new show has been created to shine a spotlight on the next generation of talented fashion designers, on New Zealand's most prestigious catwalk.

It is a huge honour to be selected for this exciting event. I am still in awe of the opportunity I have in front of me and how this is going to launch my career.

WHAT I DO

The themes I use in my collections are always mined from a personal history. I often feel like I am telling stories about myself. Whether inspired by my family history, Swedish heritage, or my involvement in punk culture - I use this to inform everything from my textiles, silhouettes and photoshoots.

My aesthetic is a bridge between ready-to-wear and avant-garde design. My attitude is to provide thought provoking modern fashion that seduces and empowers the wearer. Beauty is perceived in the smallest of details and quality is foremost in all of my designs.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

To get to New Zealand Fashion Week and bring my vision to a New Zealand audience - I need your help�I am reaching out to my community and beyond to help raise the funds I need to get there.

Your generous donations will go towards fabric and materials to make my collection, screen printing, photoshoots, a fashion film collaboration, and airfare to Auckland for NZFW meetings and the final 'New Grad' show.
