Free to Play
Nōku te Ao Capital E | Multi Discipline
Wellington Te Whanganui-a-Tara
Overview
We’re returning to the heart of the capital with a free creative Play space for our tamariki and their caregivers.
Designed and built for our smallest citizens, we're harnessing the power of play to encourage creativity, confidence and resilience in our young children (under five). Our new Play space opens in Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui Wellington Central Library in March.

Thanks for being a great place for our tamariki to explore.
Project Updates
Thank you for supporting Capital E
Our Nōku te Ao Capital E: Free to Play crowdfunding campaign has now closed, sadly, unsuccessfully.
We’re so grateful for every pledge, even though we didn’t reach our all‑or‑nothing goal. Our commitment to keeping Nōku te Ao Capital E free and accessible for all tamariki remains stronger than ever.
If you’d still like to support this kaupapa, you can make a donation via our website at: capitale.org.nz/donate
Your support can still help shape a space where the future stories of our smallest citizens begin.
Ngā manaakitanga,
The team at Nōku te Ao Capital E
