Overview
Fallen Through the Cracks is a character-driven short film about responsibility, empathy, and the quiet courage it takes to act when others look away.
THE FILM
When an elderly man living with dementia forms an unexpected bond with a young boy, he embarks on a desperate mission to help him before his memory fades away. With support from Dementia Canterbury, we share this story to encourage empathy, understanding, and conversation around memory loss
Set against an ordinary everyday world, the film explores themes of isolation, human connection, and the people society often overlooks. At its core, Fallen Through the Cracks is about choosing kindness and standing up for someone vulnerable, even when doing so feels impossible.
