Bleeding Star - 4 track album

It's only two days in, and we have been blown away by the generosity of our donors. We have already reached 86% of the target.

With such good early momentum, we may be able to add a stretch goal for when 100% of the target is reached.

A further $1,000 will allow us to record another song at Sandbox studio, making it a 5-track album.

A further $1,000 beyond that (or a total stretch target of $2k) will help us to cut a short run of vinyl for the album.

We won't count our chickens just yet, though. We still have 14% to raise, and this week we are focussing on our upcoming gig at The Other's Way Festival in Auckland this Labour weekend.

In the meantime, we want to thank everyone who has donated so far!

According to front line reports the band "kicked arse" at The Other's Way Festival in Auckland last night. Here is a pic of them at sound check.

Band Manager and number one fan Andrew Savage also go to see his boyhood heroes The Exponents in the flesh so he is very happy!

In other news the Boosted campaign will now finish in just over two days on Wednesday 26 October. This is so we can get in to Sand Box studio earlier to start recording in November.

We are only $250 away from our first stretch goal of $4,100. If we raise another $250 we can record another track for the album!

We did it, thanks to your support!

We reached our target and even made it to our second stretch goal, raising an extra $1,560.

This gives us some extra time in the studio to record the fifth song and to spend some more time in the studio getting the production to really sound great on all five songs.

Last week Bleeding Star had their sessions in Sandbox Studio. Over the course of the sessions, they recorded nine songs. These are now being finalised, and when the cover art is ready, will be uploaded to Spotify.

Once this is done, we will post a final update with a link to the album on here. While you are waiting for the album to drop, here is a pic from last week of Kindekel, Jude and Carlos taking a break at Sandbox.
