Overview
Becoming Her is a story about resilience and self-discovery. At first glance, it’s about Wren, a 25-year-old woman lost on a mountain after a fall. But beneath the surface, it’s about the moments when we all feel disoriented, unsure of our footing as we face the challenges of growing up and stepping into an unpredictable world.
Though made within a student context, this project is driven by the same care, ambition, and creativity as any professional film. Our focus is to bring Wren’s journey to life in a way that feels real, raw, and deeply human, inviting audiences to see a piece of themselves in her struggle and her becoming.
Our crowdfunding campaign exists to bring Becoming Her to life, supporting the final stages of production and post-production, while also inviting an audience into the story’s heart. This film explores identity, disorientation, and the journey of becoming oneself. By backing it, supporters aren’t just funding a project; they’re joining us in amplifying a story that reflects the struggles many face when confronting who they are and who they might become.
