B-Listers

B-Listers is a coming-of-age comedy series following the lives of two teenagers as they attempt to dive head-first into the murky underworld of crime. High school crime. They start a gang as a middle finger to those who scorn their eccentricities. Unfortunately for them, they know nothing of the real world. Yet, armed with an unwavering optimism that could rival a puppy's tail and the strength of a pod of orcas, to become hardcore crime bosses they rise every time they fail (which is a lot).

Imagine a world where teenagers never leave their childhood behind. We are That's Paru Productions, a collective of diverse young women on a mission to explore the dynamic between a group of teenagers clinging onto their childlike wonder in a world that so desperately wants them to grow up. As recent drama school graduates, we bring our authentic experiences and very loud voices to create a humorous yet touching story.

Your donations will directly fund the creation of our standout Pilot episode, which is crucial for securing funding to produce an 8-episode series.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Dead Slate Studios because their collaboration and innovative approach will elevate our vision into reality.

We'll be filming over 4 days with a total cast and crew of 32 people. This is a passion project for all of us involved. Making sure everyone is well-fed and energized is an absolute must! This is why funds will be allocated to catering and the following:

• set design
• hiring of gear
• filming permits
• location hire
