Overview
What started out as a small idea on the 1970s Dawn Raids grew into something bigger than anticipated. I was blessed to sit in spaces with people who had experienced a thing or two in regards to NZ history. Next thing you know I'm making my first documentary. What we were able to achieve with the little we had is something I think worthy of sharing. We learnt about the formation of gangs in NZ, and what led us there. We also learnt what was happening within the police at the time from an inside source. Attaining these stories really was a gift. So here we are.
Our hopes are to gain a small amount of financial support to assist in,
- Licensing archival footage
- Post-production so we can finish things properly.
