Wellington Young Actors 2022 season!

We are 35x 12-18 year olds training in theatre in Wellington.

We're learning both how to perform and how to produce our work. We are raising funds to cover some of our expenses for our upcoming shows, As You Like It by William Shakespeare and The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

We're hoping to raise funds to give ourselves a full (yet mini) show training experience and also to keep our ticket prices low and accessible for young (and all) people to be able to see our work.

Some of our expenses include:

Venue hire: $1160.00 (seven performances and one dress rehearsal per production)

Printing and distribution of the posters we've designed: $368.00

Costume hire to realise our costume design: $609.00

Tech, lights, sound and operator for The Importance of Being Earnest: $616.00

Building our set design: $440.00

Transporting our set, costumes etc to the venues and return: $310.00
