Social Animal
stephen Papps | Theatre
Overview
Social Animal is a fiercely funny solo theatre piece by Damon Andrews and Stephen Papps — a biting satire about the fear of irrelevance and the healing power of a rescue greyhound. It’s raw, honest, and hilariously human.
We’re gearing up for a return season at the TAHI Festival in Wellington this September, followed by a national tour in 2026. But first, we need to dive into rewrites and intensive rehearsals to bring the show to its final, powerful form. That’s where you come in.
We’re seeking to raise $4,500 to support five weeks of development and rehearsal in August–September 2025. Every dollar helps — and gets us closer to creating unforgettable, original Aotearoa theatre.
