RAW! ASMR
Amy Atkins | Multi Discipline
Overview
RAW! ASMR will be a new feminist clown comedy about ASMR and Mukbang. I absolutely adore ASMR and Mukbang! I could listen to people eating kohakutou (Japanese crystal jelly) all night. But… ASMR can take itself a bit too seriously! Do you agree? Yes, you do!
We need your help to raise $5,000 by 25 February 2022 to cover the fees of the creative crew so we can create Aotearoa’s first Live ASMR show!
We only have 38 days to reach our Boosted target… and if we don’t reach it we won’t receive any of your donations, none of them… *whispers* zilch.
RAW! ASMR will be a celebration of ASMR while also exploring the silly and wild side of the phenomenon. During the devising process, we’ll look out for chances to mock and destroy ‘The Bastards’ lurking around the ASMR and Mukbang communities on YouTube, too.
Join the creative team and I on a journey to bring Live ASMR to Aotearoa for the first time – as far as we know! The Development Season of RAW! ASMR will be presented at BATS Theatre in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington as part of the New Zealand Fringe Festival.

RAW! ASMR Boosted Campaign Promo Video!
My partner and I filmed this wee promo in Napier during the summer. I finished cutting together six promo videos yesterday! There are lots of silly outtakes that I'll share over the next 38 days, too.
