When a high-school principal hears of an encroaching threat; an escaped convict who has been silently breaking into teenage girls homes during the night, he becomes overly protective of one of his closest students, leading to a spiraling and terrifying misunderstanding.

Hello and thank you for being here! My name is Mason Cade Packer, I'm a New Zealand-born, Los Angeles-based filmmaker with over twenty shorts, two features, and an array of documentaries under my belt. I've been pointing cameras at things and people since the day I could crawl (or so my Mum tells me), and over the past year I have been tirelessly raising money to make a silly little horror movie in my hometown of Kāpiti. Although as each new cast member and each new crew has signed on, all of which are astounding New Zealand screen talent both in front of and behind the camera, my silly little movie has taken on a life of its own.

The film now features heavyweight kiwi screen actors Cohen Holloway (Hunt for the Wilderpeople, The Power of the Dog), Beulah Koale (Hawaii Five-0) Ryan O'Kane (The Justice of Bunny King), Madeleine Adams (Black Christmas, Alibi), Jazmyne Van Gosliga (Shortland Street), Theo Shakes, and Cori Gonzalez-Macuer (What We Do in the Shadows), and it doesn’t stop there… None of this would have been possible without my two tight-knit co-producers, Micah Winiata and Mikaela Ruegg, who lead our powerhouse crew consisting of cinematographer John Ross, esteemed production designer Dean Hudson (Wellington Paranormal), gaffer Adrian “Wookie” Hebron (X), and 1st AC Archer Roelants. With a cast and crew brimming with experience like this, we are primed to create one of New Zealand's most collaborative and milestone-setting short horror films...

Also we want to scare your bloody britches off.

So all of that is to say: I am looking to you for help to raise the last stretch of money needed to enter production on this incredibly fresh horror vision come July. All of the money raised so far as been from the incredible Kāpiti community who have contributed in small increments to this passion project of mine, and from a few generous private investors who want to see my career, and the careers of all of those involved, taken to the next level. We are (imagine me holding my hands slightly apart) this close to getting Prince made, and with your help, it just might.
