A pair of brown newbie-backpacking Kiwi girls did just that.

See what happens when you pluck two city dwelling besties from New Zealand and drop them off-the-beaten track in the middle of the Americas.

THE REALITY

#NotTheseTourists is a travel web series which was shot over three months and is hosted by indigenous presenters, Casey Kaa and Nikki Si'ulepa.

An 'out of the ordinary' trip for Maori and Pacific people; this series encourages New Zealand audiences to vicariously follow our wet-behind-the-ear travellers.

OUR CRAZY DUO 

Usually working behind the camera in film and television, these two friends leave their close-knit families and dive into this daring adventure. They face a pivotal twist when Casey's mum is suddenly diagnosed with cancer back home.

THE SERIES

Over thirteen jam packed webisodes, follow our adventures to places they've never even heard of! Each episode is full of banter, physical and emotional challenges and (when it come to this pair) a whole lot of drama!
