THE SHOW
Back then women created towns. Women ruled, their action showed true bravery, creativity, intelligence, determination and strengths. We want to give our audience a commercial yet authentic dance experience, which highlights our different strengths. We formed the idea of showcasing strengths and positive qualities of women tied together with a grunge Las Vegas/underground-bar feel.

BACKGROUND
We are full time dance students at the Apollo Theatre College. We are currently in our last year of training and this is our final year project. To give us a taste and experience of the real world, we have been assigned to produce a dance show from scratch, with no budget. We are learning how it all unfolds; finding a concept, generating and discussing ideas, finding a suitable venue, choreographing, costume, lighting and set design, budgeting, marketing, advertising, ticket sales, etc.

THE TEAM
The four of us come from a variety of different dance backgrounds, ranging from ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, traditional to acting, singing and aerial. Our dance training and especially this project have exposed us even more to each person's strengths and this is what we want to bring to our show. We want to celebrate these qualities into one compact-full-of-action dance show.

WHAT YOUR HELP GOES TOWARDS
As a team we have been fortunate enough to secure some sponsorships and donations within our circle, which has helped us pay towards one set of costumes and some set and props. We invite your participation in bringing this special project to life. We are now running a 30-day donation-based crowdfunding campaign to raise $500 to go towards staging, lighting and sound equipment, food and beverages to serve to our audience and complete our costumes for the whole show.
