Neighbours
Kaiyu Zeng | Film
Overview
"Neighbours" is a 6–8-minute short film that follows Alex, a struggling painter, and his snarky landlord, Joanna. When Joanna accidentally stumbles upon Alex's paintings, she is surprised by their beauty and discovers his artistic passion. Feeling guilty for her previous harshness, she decides to paint with him. As they spend time together, their walls come down, and an unlikely friendship blooms, proving that misunderstanding can lead to unexpected connections.
Our film will focus on using watercolour paintings as a medium to connect our two main characters and tell the story. It will be an emotional and visual piece of work.
This project is made-by and completely funded by students. Your donations are vital to the production of our film and creative direction.
