A massive thank you to the 150 fabulous people who Boosted us at Nightsong — we’ve officially hit our target, with two days still to go! It’s truly astonishing! It feels great to know we’re heading across the ditch with your support behind us. We see people are still donating and we’re blown away. So, if you thought you missed the boat, or were still thinking of passing a few dollars our way — go for it! Every extra bit keeps the lights on, the wheels spinning, and gives us a little less reason to panic when we get back.

Thank you for being such champions – we really are heartened.

Always wanting to meet audience demand, and also test the limits, we have created a stretch goal of 110%, or an additional $1050 from where we currently are at. Let's see how it goes…! Ngā mihi Ben, Carl, Caroline and the rest of the Nightsong crew. xxxx

Overview

Nightsong’s much-loved show, MR RED LIGHT, needs your help to get to Australia. After much hard yakka, we have been picked up to tour into several Australian cities over June/July. But a small snag, like so many other independent theatre creators we did not get our CNZ funding for 2025.

So, never ones to throw in the towel - we're placing our bets on RED & looking to you for some help to get this hard-earned & exciting opportunity over the line – with a view to building audiences offshore so we can continue to make & present new work at home.
