Manifesto 2083
The Rebel Alliance | Theatre
Overview
Manifesto 2083 premiered in September last year at The Basement in Auckland. It was a short and intense 5 night season. The play is a solo show that gives an extraordinary insight into the mind of a man who radicalized himself in order to commit an act of terror that shocked the world.
'Profound and challenging' - Theatreview
'This production has extreme power' - Theatre Scenes
We're taking the show to the Dunedin Fringe Festival next week and will be performing at Allen Hall, which is where Edwin Wright, the sole performer in the show, studied. We'll be working with some of the students during the day and perform in the evenings.
Touring is expensive and this time we've come up a bit short. We managed to secure some funding for our travel to and from Dunedin but we hope you can help us raise $2000 to cover the costs of our pack in crew, our operator and our production costs.
The Rebel Alliance would very much appreciate your support in its moment of need...

'In a climate where the average piece of theatre has little ambition to tackle real-life horrors, audiences will find something unique here. A politically-charged piece of writing that refuses to be anything less than thought-provoking.'
