Maisie & John

Overview
What is the project?
Maisie and John is a short dramedy about an estranged father and daughter, and their begrudging reconnection. When John breaks his foot, Maisie must divert from her carefully constructed life and out to the wop wops to look after her father - at least until he can drive again. This story hinges on the heartbreak of their broken relationship, and the humour that unfolds when they are reunited. This film is created by the students of Victoria University’s Master of Fine Arts course in film as part of our curriculum and for potential festival submission.
