WHAT THE HECKITY HECK IS LAVVIE'S ALL ABOUT..?

This play was created by me originally with the Studio 4x4 programme for emerging writers - it has since evolved and grown some arms, legs and even a head.

It is 1999. It's the female toilets of DAZZLER'S!, a tired, shabby nightclub in Essex on the outskirts of London. Secrets, lies and more than just a little betrayal over cocktails.

This quirky black comedy packs a punch as it explores the bonds of friendships and divorce in the stark fluorescent light of the girl's lavvies. 

LAVVIE'S will be part of the Dunedin Fringe Festival.

WHY SHOULD PEEPS DONATE TO LAVVIES BOOSTED CAMPAIGN..?

To support new emerging writers.  To keep professional theatre alive in Dunedin and South Otago.  And to help me achieve the dream I've been working on for so many months..!

HOW WILL THE DONATED MONEY GET USED..?

LAVVIE'S has been awarded money from the Dunedin City Council and a quiz night is also being held to raise funds - the Boosted Campaign will do exactly what it say's on the can - boost the funding to an amount required to ensure the most professional production of LAVVIES'S can be presented at the Dunedin Fringe Festival.

The LAVVIE'S cast and crew is made up of professional, talented and beautiful actors, director, stage manager, writer :) and their wage amount should reflect that.

FINAL NOTE..!

LAVVIE'S is something I've been working on for a while and you'll never know how much it means to see my work being portrayed by an amazing director and actors.  I am totally overwhelmed with the support I've received so far and I'm thanking you muchly (new word) in advance for any donation big or small - join with me on this amazing LAVVIE'S journey...
