Keep Leah's New York Dream alive!

Last year I frantically fundraised to cover the costs of getting back to New York City to complete a graduate diploma in music composition at my dream music school - the Mannes School of Music. 

In the past year I have written for orchestra, chamber ensembles, film projects, solo projects and ventured into electronic music. None of this would have been possible without your donations which helped me cover the initial costs of relocating back to this crazy city. 

Its been just under a year since this fundraising campaign and I have completed the first year of my studies! I have one more year to go and will be graduating in May 2027. I wanted to write to you - my donors - to express my thanks at the halfway mark. Your donations made my dream possible and haven't been forgotten!

Thank you so so much for donating to my boosted campaign. 53 wonderful humans from all over the world donated $5550 to help me get back to New York City to continue my studies at the New School College of Performing Arts ❤️

BOOSTED operates on an all-or-nothing system so to receive any of your donations I had to hit my goal! Thanks to your generosity I was able to lock in the cash I needed and in fact exceeded my original goal ❤️

The money we raised helps me cover the cost of my flight back to NYC and some of my essential living expenses like rent, the subway and bills. My flight is booked, the visa has arrived (very close to the wire) and I will be back for school starting on the 27th August. I'll be taking classes in electronics/live performance, opera composition, music theory, film scoring, alongside my one-on-one music lessons with Mary Kouyoumdjian. 

All of this is possible because of your kind donations. I am so so endlessly grateful for every single one of you - my heroes and legends!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
