Inscape - In Lights

'Inscape - In Lights' will be an intimate live music and lights performance, and the first public performance of composer Lauren King's debut album 'Inscape'.

Lauren will be collaborating with lighting installation designers Alena Woo and Chloe Lassen to bring two art forms together (music and lighting), to enhance one another and create an inspiring and wondrous experience for the audience.

THE EVENT

'Inscape' was released in August 2015, and this year I'll be performing material from the album, live to an audience in Wellington for the first time. For this event I'll be collaborating with two Wellington interdisciplinary artists Alena Woo and Chloe Lassen, who have agreed to create a lighting installation especially for the event. Our goal is to bring these two art forms together to enhance one another, and to create an inspiring evening for an audience of live ambient music and lights.

THE TEAM

At this stage our creative team consists of seven musicians and two installation artists, but we'll be announcing a couple more additions to the team over the running of the campaign! The event date is scheduled for Saturday the 22nd October at The Thistle Hall Gallery in Wellington.
