In The Zone

ABOUT THE FILM

In The Zone takes a hilarious and surreal twist on the classic tale of a first date gone wrong. On an evening out, David suddenly finds himself zoned out and transported to a parallel dimension known as the "Zone Out Zone." Here, a quirky receptionist informs him that he's been put on autopilot to save the date, but as fate would have it, everything that could go wrong does. From the bizarre to the absurd, David's night spirals into utter chaos, sending his date and the entire restaurant running for the hills.

Starring Joe Daymond and Courtney Dawson. This is Connor Pritchard's debut short film. Shooting entirely on 16mm.

OUR TARGET

We're asking for $5,000, which will help us cover costs for the following:

* Crew
* Film Expenses
* Locations
* Set Design
* Film Festival Entries

Another $6,000 of our self-funding is set aside for further costs of production and pre-production. This will allow us to pay crew and actors and make sure we can pull this off at the highest quality possible. As well as more time in post-production with VFX and colour grading.

As with every Boosted campaign, we don't get any money if we don't hit our goal, so every bit counts! We'll put your name in the credits if you donate even a few dollars. Sharing this campaign will significantly help us even if you can't donate. All donors will also be invited to the premiere screening in Tāmaki Makaurau. Note: If you live in Aotearoa, you can claim back 33% of your donation in your annual tax return.
