Stretch Goal Message
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to I Thought You Were in Germany! The support we’ve received so far has been truly overwhelming, and we’re so grateful to every single one of you for helping bring this project to life.
Because of the amazing response, we’re now stretching our goal to $3,000. This will allow us not only to secure further equipment to lift the production value but also to cover entry fees for international film festivals, giving the film worldwide!
We couldn’t do this without you, and we’re so excited to share this journey with you.

Overview
A whimsical short film about Valentine’s quest to return a pet fish to a long-lost friend. I Thought You Were In Germany is a 15-minute comedy that explores friendship, memory, and the ways we hold on to people, even when life pulls them away. It’s about the absurdity of trying to fix the past, the humour in small, unexpected moments, and the emotional weight of connection. The film reflects on how love, loyalty, and curiosity drive us toward each other, even in the strangest circumstances.
