Overview
Gehenna is a 45 minute play about a young woman who in trying to help her grieving sister is drawn into a dangerous underworld that threatens to destroy her.
It is part of the Going West writers festival along with other short plays from acclaimed playwright Gary Henderson's writing group. The play is directed by Margaret Mary Hollins with a professional cast of actors.
The funds from Boosted will go towards paying the actors who give their time and talents so generously.
Gehenna (the Hebrew word for underworld) is being performed at Te Pou theatre, Portage Rd, New Lynn, Auckland along with Bait by Ken Burns and A Miner Disaster by Aunty Ree.
Thurs 22 & Sat 24 Sept at 7.30 and Sun 25 Sept at 2pm. Tickets from iticket.co.nz. $15-$20
