ABOUT FLOW STATE

At its core, Flow State is an extreme sports documentary following a small diverse community of New Zealand Highliners.

Beyond this, we want to share the love, struggles and culture of a group of athletes mastering their minds and their sport. We want to uncover the challenges they have faced on their journey through Highlining and how that's shaped them into the people they are today. This story is worth telling because they are some of the most accepting, humble and talented individuals we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They approach life in a different way. We want to show our audience what it’s like to be part of a family united by one thing, Highlining.

Our goal with this film is to branch out from the typical extreme sports documentary and provide a narrative that is both captivating and inspiring that could enable our audience to reflect on their own lifestyle.

We are all students of Massey University, in our third and final year of Creative Media Production.  We are all extremely invested and passionate about telling the story of this amazing, unique community.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

In order to make this project a reality we have created a boosted crowdfunding campaign to help raise the funds to cover the production expenses. 

Our target goal for this crowdfunding campaign is $3,800 with a stretch goal of $4500.

Your donations will go towards the costs associated with 2 major shoots in Queenstown:

• Flights to & from Wellington - Queenstown
• Accommodation in Queenstown
• Food for the crew
• The stretch goal covering both extra equipment costs and entry fees into film festivals

Boosted uses an ALL OR NOTHING system, meaning if we do not reach our goal, we will not be able to make the project to its full potential and your donation will be refunded.
