First Peace in 10000 Hands Project

Hi, I'm Stuart Robertson and this is a quick insight into a global art project I started 14 months ago. Over the next 3 years I'm going to photograph a single white rose, an ancient symbol of peace, in the hands of 10,000 people from every country on the planet. 

I'm inspired by the belief that art is intimately entwined with the human condition and has the power to challenge and create change.

I've been humbled by the genuine heartfelt responses from people who I've already photographed, are following us on Facebook and the messages received from all over the world. 

My wife and I put all our savings in to start the project, to date we have photographed over 1100 people holding the white rose, visited 10 countries and are now setting up a working studio and exhibiting space

We need to produce and exhibit artworks in the studio for launch events and filming that's planned in the New Year and right now we need help to raise $9,000 to get the space finished with artworks produced and hanging in time. 

Next year we will be focused on raising funds to help us complete the next stage of the project and will be launching another Boosted campaign with the Arts Foundation for this. It will ensure the momentum of support and interest in the project will continue to create a global conversation for peace.

Each of our actions and thoughts has a subtle yet profound ripple effect. We are responsible for and have the ability to choose, how we influence that ripple.
