Dunedin Musos' Club
Dunedin Musos' Club | Music
Overview
Formed in 1974, the Dunedin Musicians' Club was founded as an Incorporated Society to support local musicians and their friends by providing a venue for socialising, playing and education. Run by a volunteer committee, the Club eventually purchased it's own premises in Manse St and provides regular Thursday night entertainment along with several gig nights highlighting local and international acts and the occasional workshop. With around a year's worth of mortgage remaining, the Club looks forward to continuing it's goal of providing a safe venue for the town's best acts.
With the latest changes to the fire regulations, our venue capacity has been limited to 50 for the last year while we fundraise for a new fire egress to return us to full capacity. With our current funds raised being quickly eroded by engineering, architect, consent and fire inspection fees, further funds are still required to complete the project.
It is only through the commitment of an enthusiastic committee and a volunteer workforce and your contributions that we can complete this task.
