Di and Viv and Rose

Fusion Productions, alongside a powerhouse of female creatives, present "Di and Viv and Rose", an award-winning play by Amelia Bullmore, directed by Stephanie McKellar-Smith, and starring Lara Macgregor , Julie Edwards and Jodie Dorday. Hitting the stages of Aotearoa for the very first time, we invite audiences to experience this witty, vivid comedy charting the steady, but sometimes chaotic, progression of three women’s lives…and their ultimately enduring bonds. It's been a long road to get to this point, but we’re thrilled to have seasons programmed at Wellington’s Circa Theatre in September (as part of the Women’s Theatre Festival) and the Mayfair Theatre, Dunedin in November.

WHY NOW?

Well, we want to provide professional opportunities for female artists, creatives and technicians post Covid. We want to give professionals who have struggled to work the chance to be employed and do what they do best. Last but not least, we want to have the very best opportunity to bring the highest quality work to our theatre-going audiences who have supported the industry through numerous challenges and deserve nothing less.

 WHAT WE NEED

We’ve pulled together a stellar all-female cast and crew, with all the expertise to bring it to fruition. Now we need a bit of a top up to ensure that our set and lights fit the bigger venues we’ve secured to keep everyone safe, connected and still experiencing theatre in these changing times. 

Our belief is that bringing theatre to our communities is more important than ever; we invite you to be a part of our vision.
