Choir Recording Project

I’m a composer based in Hamilton, and this August I’m recording my setting of In the Bleak Midwinter — Christina Rossetti's beloved Christmas text. After five years working on this piece, I am ready for it to be shared with the world.

I’ve assembled a small group of talented singers from Auckland to record the piece at St. Luke’s Remuera in Auckland. With your support, we’ll be able to pay our artists fairly, hire a beautiful venue, as well as bring in a professional sound engineer and video team to capture the session.

I am deeply passionate about New Zealand's rich choral music scene, and having the chance to add a small thread to this rich tapestry is a great privilege and honour; to celebrate the talent we have here at home, and creating something beautiful that audiences around the world can experience and enjoy.
