Stretch Goal Message
We’re so grateful to everyone who has supported Blank Slate so far — thanks to you, we’ve reached our initial fundraising target! This means we can cover the essentials: sets, costumes, and making sure this bold, cyberpunk neo‑noir vision can be brought to life.
But now we’re dreaming even bigger. We’re introducing a stretch goal to raise additional funds — with the hope of being able to properly pay our incredible cast and crew. These talented, hardworking people have poured their hearts into making this film a reality, and we’d love to recognize their time, energy, and passion.
Every dollar of this stretch goal goes directly towards supporting the team behind Blank Slate, making sure they can focus on doing their best work and bringing this captivating world to the screen.
Thank you for making this journey possible so far — and for considering helping us go that little bit further. Together, we can make Blank Slate truly special.
Overview
Blank Slate is a student-produced short film created by writer-director Thomas Smith as part of his final-year project. Set in a futuristic world, the film explores themes of identity, control, and resistance through the story of "Bishop." Blank Slate blends action, atmosphere, and speculative storytelling to question what it means to start over in a system designed to erase the past.
Developed by a dedicated team of student filmmakers, this project showcases emerging talent and ambitious world-building on a limited budget.
