Overview

Beast Mode is the latest brainchild from writer, director Chye-Ling Huang. A complex, edge-of-your-seat short film, Beast Mode is inspired by her personal lens as a Pan-Asian sexual assault survivor.

Filmed in December 2024 with over 40 cast & crew, we are now seeking YOUR help to finish the film and get it over the line.

Festival run who?

Kia ora generous boosted donors,

Last week we officially delivered Beast Mode and man was it satisfying to ship to the NZ Film Commission headquarters. To celebrate we wanted to share our official poster for the film, designed by Chye-Ling herself. Let us know what you think!

Over the next year we'll be traveling Beast Mode locally and internationally on our festival run. We'll keep our Boosted updates going but latest details will be posted to the One7 Pictures Instagram.
