Stretch Goal Message
Thank you so much for helping us reach our lowered target! As we have a day left, we wanted to bring back our original target as the stretch goal! Every penny counts from here on out, and are so happy we're now guaranteed to access the funds we had raised so far!
Overview
"Arrival" is a short film that captures the crucial first 6 weeks of a refugee mother and daughter's resettlement journey in New Zealand. Based on director Ahmed Osman's personal experience, this film aims to tell an authentic story about the challenges refugees face immediately after arriving in a new country. We are seeking additional funding beyond our NZ Film Commission grant to bring this important story to life.
Project Updates
Arrival is in the final stages of post-production!
Kia ora e te whānau,
Winter is nearing its end as we get closer to Spring, and guess what? So is Arrival's post-production! Our wee short film, that you've so generously supported, is finally in the final stages of post-production, soon heading off to the experts at POW Studios in Wellington.
We just wanted to share a sneak peek on how the film has come along:

Are you excited yet? So are we!
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We wouldn't have gotten here without you!
Ngā mihi
