Established in 1934, the Turnbull Endowment Trust makes sure New Zealanders can harness the full potential of the rich collections of the Alexander Turnbull Library. The Trust invests donations and, from the resulting income, provides grants for research, exhibitions, preservation and other projects outside of core government-funded activities.
The aim of our Paintings in Perpetuity campaign is to ensure that oil paintings and artefacts in the Library's collections can receive remedial treatment where required, enabling them to be shared with the public.
