The Project
Let’s undress the layers — of identity, intimacy, and empowerment. Undressing Layers is a bold new podcast and visual storytelling series exploring deep & transformative topics through raw, unfiltered conversations. We’re launching with a cinematic documentary-style series in Los Angeles, capturing the voices of powerful creatives with global stories and perspectives to bring back home to Aotearoa. Our mission is to spark deep, honest dialogue across cultures — starting overseas and continuing at home. This isn't just content - it's representation on the global stage. Your support will help fund quality equipment, production costs, and the launch of our first season in LA, including content filmed here in New Zealand.
The Team
Undressing Layers is hosted by two bold creative forces from Aotearoa.
Taleta is a seasoned media host and multidisciplinary storyteller, known for her work with leading festivals and artists across New Zealand and internationally. She brings a rich background in interviewing, creative production, and cultural storytelling.
Morghan is a sought-after fashion designer and visual artist with a background in professional sport and music. She’s known for high-profile collaborations with iconic names like Stan Walker, blending bold style with deep cultural influence.
Together, they are respected voices in Aotearoa’s creative scene — now joining forces to create a powerful, unapologetic podcast platform that weaves different stories and perspectives.
Undressing Layers is a space for raw conversation, global connection, and fearless expression — told through the lens of two women who live and breathe creativity
The Funding
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 NZD (10% fee to Boosted Moana) to professionally launch Undressing Layers — a powerful new podcast and visual storytelling series.
This funding will allow us to produce high-quality content both in Los Angeles and back home in Aotearoa, with the depth and care these stories deserve.
Here’s how the funds will be used:
Production Setup – Approx. $3,000-$4,000
Studio & Crew Costs – Approx. $3,000-4,000
Post-Production & Editing – Approx. $2,000-3,000
Every dollar will go directly toward elevating our storytelling and building a sustainable creative platform that celebrates depth, expression, and connection.
The Details
Undressing Layers is a podcast and visual storytelling series that explores the parts of ourselves we’re often taught to hide — from sensuality and identity to healing, relationships, and creative expression. Through raw, unfiltered conversations, we’re creating space where nothing is off-limits and depth is celebrated.
This project is more than content — it’s a movement. As two women grounded in storytelling, creativity, and lived experience, we feel we’re carving out a space that hasn’t truly existed in Aotearoa before: one that centers honest, feminine expression without censorship or performance. We’re reclaiming the narrative — and doing it on our own terms.
Undressing Layers is the next chapter in our creative journeys — a call to share what’s often left unsaid, to build radical community, and to lead from vulnerability. We’re launching with a series of interviews and visual documentaries in Los Angeles, amplifying global voices and creatives, then continuing the storytelling in Aotearoa.
At its core, Undressing Layers is about connection, courage, and creating something bold and new — a global platform for truth-telling and transformation, one layered story at a time.
The Impact
We believe storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to connect — to bridge race, culture, and perspective, and to resonate on a deeply human level.
As multidimensional creatives, we’re committed to creating work that uplifts, inspires, and reflects real people and experiences. This project is our way of contributing meaningfully to the arts — through intentional storytelling and high-quality visual content that brings truth and depth to the surface.
Backing this project means backing honest, heart-led work that has the potential to impact people far beyond just one platform. We want our community to be part of this journey — to help us bring these stories to life, and to stand behind a vision that’s about unity, expression, and creating space for something bigger than us.
With your support, we can build something lasting and real with genuine purpose and impact.
