We’ve reached our initial funding goal!
Vinaka vakalevu to every single person who has donated, shared, and supported our journey. Your support has made this possible, and we are so deeply grateful.
Thanks to you, Na Cagi Ni Veisau (The Winds of Change) will open at the Fiji Museum this November. This exhibition honours the stories of Fijian women, revitalises the weaving of liku, and rejuvenates the ceremonial practice of veiqia through art, storytelling, and community.
But we’re not stopping here. We’re now working towards a stretch goal to help us deepen the impact of this exhibition.
With additional support, we can:
- Expand our collaboration with Fiji-based weavers and artisans
- Support and community-led programming
- Enhance documentation and storytelling for future generations
Help us reach our stretch goal by sharing this campaign with your networks.
Every share, every conversation, every donation helps us carry this kaupapa further.

These liku, woven from kuta (reeds), are part of the Fiji Museum’s collection.
We’re 82% funded!
We’re feeling so humbled and grateful. Vinaka vakalevu to every single person who has donated, shared, and stood with us on this journey.
Your support means the world to us. It’s not just about funding an exhibition, it’s about honouring the stories of Fijian women, revitalise the weaving of liku and veqia, and celebrating 10 years of The Veiqia Project.
💜 To our supporters—you are part of this story. You are helping us carry it forward.
✨ Just 18% to go! Let’s cross the finish line together.
📸 Our June visit to the Fiji Museum was filled with talanoa, weaving, and connection. These moments reminds us why this work matters.
