The Winners!
The winners and the runners up for The Great Kiwi Poster Competition 2021/22 will be announced at 9am tomorrow (Monday 21 March)on the competition website - https://www.greatkiwiposter.com/.
The judges had a tough time working through the 222 eligible entries as the overall quality was very high.
Now it's time to pick the competition's final winner by popular vote! One of the twelve runner up's below is also going to receive $1000 and have their poster put up around the country by our sponsor, Phantom Bill Stickers. Who will it be? Please scroll down to the 'Runner Up section on the website from tomorrow and pick your favourite poster. The choice is yours but remember when you're doing your judging that some of the juniors are as young as five years old. Voting opens on Monday, 21 March at 9am and closes on Monday, April 4th at 5pm with the winner announced on the website on or before Friday, April 8th.
A huge 'Thank You" to everyone who entered, our judges, our sponsors on Boosted and our major sponsors - Phantom Bill Stickers, Hell Pizza and New Zealand's Biological Heritage. (Bruce Mahalski - For The Great Kiwi Poster Competition).

Young five-year-old, Ada Zamorkina, from Auckland received the most votes of the 1200 + votes which people cast for their favourite of the 12 runner-up posters and won the 'Popular Vote' section despite the fact her poster was up against posters by young people aged up to 21.
An exhibition of the best posters opened at Otago Museum on Saturday April 16th and runs to the end of May.
Some of the posters are also being used in the 'Far From Frozen traveling exhibition' about climate change which Otago Museum is also involved in.
Here's another article about the results of the competition and the exhibition at the Museum which was launched by Maevi Fleming - our Intermediate winner - from Timaru (see photo below) .
