th'Orchard Kaikoura 3 Day Tour: Tin Cup Session & Campfire Show

th'Orchard with th'Saplings (Orchard young people) will travel to Kaikoura for 3 days in August to deliver a Tin Cup Music Session with Kaikoura Rangatahi and showcase the now well known Dreamers Pt. II Campfire Show.

The Tin Cup Session is an opportunity for th'Orchard to share musical and industry knowledge and grow capability within Kaikoura Rangatahi. The session will work with a group of 8 Rangatahi to create and record a song.

th'Saplings will also engage with Kaikoura Rangatahi and will help to grow their confidence in sharing and growing creativity with artists from other regions. th'Orchard will deliver our well known Dreamers Pt. II show in Kaikoura.

The show features many of th'Saplings. It was created for Te Matatiki Toi Ora Christchurch Arts Centre Matariki 2022 Festival and showcased again at the Arts Centres, Off Centre Festival 2023. The opportunity to deliver this to another region creates opportunities for th'Orchard artists to grow capability and connect with other artists.

It will also help to foster confidence in aspiring Orchard artists who may not have the opportunity to otherwise travel to deliver their art and experience other parts of the South Island.
