Sneak peek Renaissance Wahine collection!
A Sneak peek into my Renaissance body of work I have completed so far.
Crowns,jewels, nude bodies and more!
This is the fun part for me deciding what jewels to adorn each Wahine.
I Just love it and I hope you do to?
Art share with Tame Iti! The highlight of my year!
This summer I was lucky and privileged to be asked by Tame Iti to swap one of my vintage Wahine mirrors .How lucky am I!
Art sharing is such a great way to collaborate with other artists and gain a great collection of art.
I am so PROUD to have Tame’s art displayed in my home and he equally loves mine!
Check out the latest !
My body of Renaissance Wahine portraits is growing with tree Wahine hair!
It’s all about the eyes!
My arts practice always begins with the eyes .
From there the rest of the painting just flows and then the fun part begins of clothing my Renaissance Wahine, adding lace, a crown ,jewels and more.
I especially love adding the gold and silver leaf-so satisfying
"The King has lost his crown!"
LIFE IMITATES ART far more than Art Imitates Life!
The notion that an event in the real world was inspired by a creative work.
Beauty, truth and wisdom in the world!
In the Renaissance error they knew what to do with the talent ,by giving artists a mission.
They had a clear sense of what art is for.
Artist were rewarded and invested in properly.
Where it all started .....The beginning of my Renaissance series
My Tin Types were exhibited at the Lourve in Paris 2015. This was a group collaboration with the Arty Farties .I worked hard to fundraise by art busking in the streets of Whakatane rain ,hail and shine and doing what it took to go!
A great experience and memories!
JUMPING FOR JOY!

Art has the power to change the world!
MY role as an artist in society,my local community, and the world at large is to contribute to others.
Artists are a vehicle for expressing universal emotion. I tell stories and pass on my traditions through my art.
As an artist I connect with and inspire people globally.
I am proud to be a Worlds Arts Games member.
I participated in the games in Slavonki Brod in 2017.Through this WAG experience I have gained lifelong friends and wonderful cultural experiences.
