Thankyou everyone for the support the past weeks. We've been holding back on promoting our campaign in light of the current climate and the need to give space to online conversations around systemic racism and police brutality across the board.

We've been thinking about how we can use our campaign to assist in the BLM movement and take positive action and stand up for marginalised and neglected communities here in Aotearoa whom have often been subject to systemic racism and high rates of imprisonment.

We'd like to donate 20% of our funding toward supporting PARS https://www.pars.co.nz/about, an organisation working on the ground here in Aotearoa to provide rehabilitation, support and opportunities for Māori and other disenfranchised groups affected disproportionately by the prison system. PARS are also involved in advocating for alternatives to our traditional justice system, and how it can better serve at-risk groups.

We are teasingly close to reaching our goal, and with some help we can do so whilst also allowing us the opportunity to give back and take a stand for racial equality and prison reform in NZ.
