Naram & Yael

You did it! We can now hire a documentary editor to start making the film - an amazing story of two women committed to each other that will soon be brought to big and small screens. The outpouring of love and community effort was mind blowing. We always knew this story was worth telling and to see the proof that you agree is a huge motivation.

We will do you proud. We are committed to making this completed film very easy to access and easy to share in order to influence hearts and minds around the world. We will need your help to make that vision happen, follow our IG page or newsletter (link in bio).

But to step back a decade or so - in May 2014 we set out to make a food and culture documentary, and instead came away with something transformative as Naram, Yael and the filmmaking team were faced with the constant unfolding horrors of Israeli occupation. We decided to face it head on and tell a story about two women striving for Palestinian liberation together in an honest and open way.

Our Boosted crowdfunding campaign is still live today Thursday April 9th until 9pm NZDT. If you or your network still want to support the film with a donation, the additional money will go towards our music and paying local musicians. Thank you to everyone who got involved, this is just the beginning.

With three days to go we have hit 77% with 521 incredibly generous donors. We have also just broken the record for highest number of individual donors to a film project on Boosted! This is a massive achievement and we are beyond grateful for the support.

However, now is crunchtime for our crowdfunding campaign. We either hit our target, or we don't get any money. We are currently tracking well, but we will need your help to build momentum over the final three days.

At its core, our film is about how friendships can survive adversity through commitment and solidarity to one another. We are living in challenging times and we think it’s incredibly urgent to show stories of ordinary people changing their worldview and resisting oppressive structures. This is important not only for the Palestinian struggle, but for all interconnected struggles.

We're at crunchtime for our crowdfunding campaign. Today marks one week to go! We are currently at 66% of our campaign target with a whopping 429 donors, and we only need 80 or so more donors to claim the title of Boosted film project with the most donors of all time! We need to hit 100% of our target to receive the money donated so far - or we don't get anything! We finish at 9pm on Thursday April 9th NZDT.

The full trailer for Naram & Yael is now exclusively on our Boosted Page!  This is the first time we've ever shared a trailer publicly in the history of the film, we're proud to take this to the world. Thanks for being on board early.

Today we are half way through the crowdfunding and our target, with 350 donors. We are very overwhelmed with all the support. The Boosted model is all or nothing so we either make our target or we don't get any of the money we've raised so far. This means we still have a long way to go!
