Lottie -For what its worth

The Project
Hi, I’m Lottie, an independent artist pouring my heart into my debut EP, For What It’s Worth. Music has always been my way of making sense of life—its highs, lows, and everything in between. Songs like Gimme, Between the Lines, and Last to Admit reflect my journey, and seeing Gimme reach the NZ Hot Hits charts has been a dream come true. To bring this project to life, I need support for production, mixing, mastering, music videos, and promotion. As an independent artist, every contribution makes a huge difference, helping me share this music with more people. My goal is to create something meaningful, not just for myself but for anyone who connects with these songs. If you believe in this project, I’d be so grateful for your support. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
The Team
Behind this project, I have my incredible producers—Dan Martin, Ben Malone, and Aubrie Mitchell—shaping the sound. My creative director and mentor, Kate Stacey, guiding the vision. Photographers and videographers are still to be confirmed, and most importantly, my family is behind every move I make.
The Funding
I’m raising money to bring my music to life in the best way possible. Every contribution goes directly toward creating and sharing this project with the world. Here’s a breakdown of what the funds will support:
- Production & Mixing – Working with my producers Dan Martin, Ben Malone, and Aubrie Mitchell to craft high-quality tracks.
- Mastering – Ensuring each song is polished and ready for release.
- Visual Content – Funding photoshoots and music videos to tell the story visually.
- Marketing & Promotion – Getting the music heard through PR, playlist pitching, and social media ads.
- Live Performances – Bringing the songs to the stage with the right setup and team.
- Merchandise – Creating physical products to connect with fans and support future releases.
Every dollar helps me continue making music that’s raw, real, and impactful.
The Details
This project is deeply personal. After facing a life-threatening illness, I made a promise to myself to live with no regrets. Every song I create is a reflection of that mindset—honest, bold, and unapologetic. My debut EP, For What It’s Worth, is the first chapter of that journey, a five-song collection that explores themes of longing, resilience, and self-discovery. Each track is a piece of my story, shaped by raw emotion and real experiences, capturing moments of vulnerability, strength, and everything in between.
But this project doesn’t stop with the EP—it’s just the beginning. I’m committed to keeping the momentum going with a steady flow of singles to follow. These songs will continue to evolve my sound, push boundaries, and deepen my connection with my audience. My goal is to create a body of work that not only reflects my own journey but also resonates with others, inspiring them to embrace their own truths and live without hesitation.
The Impact
This project is about showing the next generation that anything is possible, no matter where you come from. Growing up in a small town like Pahiatua, the road to pursuing music and dance seemed distant. But I didn’t let that stop me—my passion drove me to create my own opportunities.
I want young people, especially those from small communities, to see that their dreams are valid. I want them to know that they don’t need to fit into a specific mold or move to a big city to make their mark. With hard work, determination, and the right support, they can break barriers and create their own path—just like I did.
This project isn’t just about my success; it’s about inspiring others to take the leap, to chase what excites them, and to believe that no dream is too big. By supporting this journey, you’re helping to show that dreams aren’t limited by geography or circumstance—they’re only limited by the willingness to take the first step.
