We have wrapped filming and are into post-production. These donations will help us pay for the editing, colour grading, audio mixing, and the score. We have completely funded this ourselves and need a little push to help us get over the finish line. Anything helps us make something we believe everyone will enjoy and relate to. 

We are a small group of independent filmmakers—a team of five (not including our amazing talent)—with experience in the New Zealand film industry.

My name is Tommy Flynn, and I wrote, produced, and directed Locked IN. It is my debut mini-series, and I hope it will grow into something larger. Your donations will definitely help me achieve that goal.

The funding will go towards the post-production process.

We all have a shared experience with the COVID-19 lockdowns here in New Zealand. It was a tough time for a lot of people globally. This show, although not directly linked to COVID-19, touches on what it's like to be trapped inside for weeks on end with no end date in sight. Our show is a light-hearted, sitcom-style comedy that follows five young adults as they navigate through the struggles of being trapped inside. Boredom, depression, and coming up with new ideas to spend their time... Although they might not be overly productive. Locked IN consists of 5 episodes, with each episode covering a different week they spent stuck inside.

Everyone has experienced a lockdown globally. It is one of the few things that unites us all. And although others may have had it harder or worse, it doesn't take away what we all felt during that time. I believe it's something we can all relate to, as we all have shared experiences. 

We are just a group of young adults trying to create stuff that is affordable and reaches a wider audience.
