Kids and Kognoscenti

Thank you to everyone who has generously donated to our Boosted campaign so far. We are truly humbled by the support we have been receiving. We’re so close to the target now!

The move to the red setting of the COVID -19 protection framework means that we have decided to postpone Kids & Kognoscenti until October 2022, and we’re excited to know that we can share these works with you then. To stay informed about the concert, make sure you sign up to receive communications from us when you make a donation or sing up to our e-newsletter via this link. 

We still need your support! We need to reach our goal of $12,000 before 21^st February to ensure Kids & Kognoscenti can go ahead in October. We’re nearly there. Please help us get this project over the line, and help us spread the word!

Thanks to your incredible support we have achieved our goal and reached 100% of our target. We are so grateful to all of you who donated and shared the message about our Boosted campaign – we couldn’t have done it without you!

Our campaign is open for 9 more days and we’ve introduced a stretch goal of $2,000. This additional funding will also enable us to pay our artists and contributors what they deserve for the work they are putting in to make these concerts so fabulous - including an exciting commission for a new work for Opus Orchestra by Ross Harris. And even though Covid restrictions have meant having to delay these concerts until later in the year, we are determined to continue putting the mahi in and making these events memorable for all who attend.

These funds will support our musicians and also go towards the commission for Ross Harris to write a new work for our orchestra to be performed at these October concerts. Incidentally - if anyone would like their name linked to this new work for perpetuity, please get in touch - we are still raising funds for this aspect of the programme too!

A heartfelt big thank you to you all for your amazing support! We couldn't have done this without you. Fingers crossed we get to perform soon and share our music with you.
