Jumpstart (Short Film)

There are simply no words to express just how incredibly loved and supported we feel today.

We released this campaign on Wednesday with the intention of raising $670 for just the basics. To be sitting here now on Friday with over $1.5k feels unreal. We are absolutely blown away by how much we have been able to achieve in such a short time, and we are so grateful to be in this position only two days later.

The additional $800 we have received goes straight into every corner of this project. Where we originally only had $35 to provide meals on set, we now have $200 (that's a LOT more Tim-Tams!). We are also now in a position to provide our lead actress with a koha, to thank them for the hard work and long hours they will be joining us on set.

This would not have been possible without everyone who shared our posts, who signed up to audition, and, of course, those who have generously donated to this Boosted campaign. From the very bottom of our hearts, thank you so much. The overwhelming support we've received has made it clear that there is still space for young filmmakers like us in Aotearoa.

We will make you proud. One day at a time.

Thank you so much (to the moon and back!) to all of our incredible, amazing, SPECTACULAR supporters! We are stunned that we were able to reach our target within 48 hours, and cannot express in words how grateful we feel to be so loved by our communities.

As we hit our goal so quickly, we have decided to create a stretch goal of $1,200. This would allow us to increase our on-set meal budget, as well as purchase a 128GB V90 SD Card (that's a really cool SD card!). These additions will make working on set more comfortable for our cast and crew, which continues to be our priority!

Thank you again for your support. It means so much to all three of us to have so many amazing people behind us. From the bottom of our hearts, we hope that we can make you all proud.
