While in the middle of a project meeting we had the enormous and wonderful surprise of discovering our project has suddenly been Boosted up from 55% to 75% thanks to an incredible act of patronage/philanthropy... We are amazed, excited and extremely grateful... Thank you....!

Good morning friends and whanau,

This is Sonia writing. I woke up with a wish to clarify the long-term intention behind our project « in this together - NZ arts connections »:

To me this project is actually about building a mutually supportive and culturally diverse network and community of creatives in Auckland and all around the country to foster principles of inclusion, accessibility and collaboration in the long run. 

My hope is that these six videos and the introductions they bring about will later branch out into various smaller outreach projects with artists and musicians teaming up to put their talents at the service of celebrating their differences and sharing their ideas and art forms in places like schools, hospitals, performance venues, urban and rural community spaces and perhaps prisons.

The skills acquired in this process will also make it easier for all these creatives to initiate or benefit from international online artistic collaboration opportunities which have been flourishing in recent times.

If you could pitch in the price of a coffee or whatever feels right for you to help make this dream of a less fractured arts world in Aotearoa reality, we’d be very grateful. Here is the link:
