HOME BASE (short film)

I can see now why people say making a movie is like catching lightning in a bottle. There are so many things that have to go right. And there are so many things that could go wrong. We had a lot of shooting to get done in a tight three days. Luckily we had the most amazing cast and crew. Everybody worked together beautifully. There were great vibes all weekend despite some tough conditions and a ton of work to get done.

We had no time to rehearse, but luckily the cast had instant chemistry and knocked it out of the park. Stellar performances from Ben Van Lier, Helene Nicholson, Maxwell Andrews and Glen Farnham. Everybody on the crew went above and beyond. Huge thank you to Graham Lauder, Tansy Clarke, Shaun Logan, Odette Andrews, Mark Andrews and Sara Fritzell. 

We are forever grateful for all the generous donations we received.  We're in post-production now and then we'll be hitting the festival circuit. Stay tuned for more
