Local live music online - Goodwill Radio Club

Goodwill Radio Club is a driven community of diverse volunteers, lifting up Kiwi musicians and bringing local live music to a digital stage. When we broadcast our livestreams online, we remove accessibility barriers to live music for everyone and build resilience into artists’ careers.

We believe music should be performed by anyone, for everyone. But, we need your help to raise almost $10,000 for our second season. With your support we can hire generators to go off-grid, go wireless with our cameras, and give koha back to our community of volunteers.

If we don't reach our Boosted target by the 15th of December, we won’t be able to do a second season to the quality Kiwi artists deserve.

ABOUT US

We’re a team of production professionals based in Te Whanganui a Tara Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. We come from diverse industry backgrounds like spatial design, videography, radio media and startup ecosystem.

The kaupapa of our team is guided by three ideas:

OUR WORK

Our online platform is highly accessible, bypassing traditional obstacles for in-person audiences such as financial, public health and disability barriers. With the potential to reach a worldwide audience, we construct authentic, engaging live experiences that amplify the voices of Kiwi artists and capture the cultural landscape of Aotearoa. 

Our platform also provides an alternative pathway for new artists looking to perform live, with dramatically fewer barriers to entry than venue-based performances. Artists are also introduced to our broad and dedicated audience, connecting with potential fans for life. Our livestreams are constructed to meet a high visual and aural aesthetic quality, from which we also create a suite of promotional material for artist use.
