The Funding

Our goal is to raise $10k to bring this project to life. While this is just a portion of what we need, it’s the minimum required to tell this story with the creativity, authenticity, and resourcefulness it deserves.

We want you to be part of this journey too.

  • Cast and Crew Compensation: This covers the costs of paying our dedicated team.
  • Production Expenses: This includes all the essentials to make production run smoothly, such as supplies, accommodation, food and craft services, equipment, and location rentals.
  • Post-Production: This allocation will cover the costs of film editing, color grading, sound design, music composition, and other crucial elements necessary to complete the film. It is an essential phase that will enhance the project and bring our vision to life on screen.

The Details

This film is inspired by my childhood experiences with best friends, bonding by our shared love of cars.
This film captures the universal experience of growing up and the bittersweet feeling of leaving a part of life behind. The characters highlight the strength of friendship and the pull between holding onto the past and embracing the future, symbolised by their love for classic cars in a world moving toward electric vehicles.

LIVE ACTION + ANIMATION

The animated sequence will serve as a vivid representation of the boys' dreams and aspirations for the future, seamlessly integrating live action with animation to create a visually immersive experience. Through this blend of mediums, the scene will capture their hopes, fears, and the limitless possibilities ahead. To bring this vision to life, I will be collaborating with my uncles from Studio Arche, combining our expertise to craft a dreamlike, emotionally resonant sequence that enhances the storytelling and deepens the audience’s connection to the characters.

The Impact

This story matters now because the world is changing faster than ever, technology is evolving, traditions are fading, and young people are navigating an uncertain future. As electric cars take over, the film uses a love for classic cars as a symbol of holding onto identity, passion, and meaningful connections. It’s a timely reminder to embrace change while honouring the past, making it a relatable and heartfelt coming of age story for today.
