Artists Kiln

Hi, I’m Oliver Cain an Artist looking for help to purchase a kiln.

Allowing myself and other local ceramic artists to develop their practices, helping us create wonderfully wild pottery. Making the process easier and more efficient for work to be made and exhibited more smoothly.

Ceramics is a unique craft and anyone who has tried making something from clay will remember the first time it came out the kiln all finished. The whole process is uncertain right up to the last minute, but once you have sculpted and fired your work you are left with beautiful objects that can be functional or highly contemporary. Ceramics is such a diverse practice where things can go even better than you imagined or get unexpected surprises.

As an artist my practice is developing with multiple exhibitions throughout the year and with many big goals for the nearby future. Having the right equipment is crustal in producing work and makes the process of making that whole lot easier. I'm keen to develop my love of ceramics, and my practice as an artist. Making work to be exhibited and shown to the world. As well as helping others birth their creative ideas making dreams a reality. Offering a local network of support for artists who need help with ideas and how to go about it, as well as offering specialised equipment for work to be finished.
