Aitu

Two ex-lovers are given a chance to reconcile their lives moments before disaster, guided by the spirit of time. 

Aitu is the Samoan word for “Ghost” or “fairy” I want to bring pacific tales of the paranormal and supernatural to the forefront.

Aitu is a short film about 2 people frozen in time, moments before a car accident, that must resolve their differences before it’s too late. On the road before them stands the spirit of death. Mute, but watching, it guides them towards an answer they’ve been searching for.

As our characters do this, the audience will learn more about who the they are, their backgrounds and how they ended up here, on this road, hurtling towards their fate.

It’s a story of love, hope and responsibility.

What are we crowdfunding for?

The money raised will go toward film development, rehearsal spaces, paying our cast and crew, location and other costs that take an independent film to the next level, and Boosted X Moana will match each donation dollar for dollar.
