A Son's Return Home

Kia ora everyone,

We made it! We hit our target and we have you all to thank for it. 

We are so grateful for all the support we've received and are blown away by the generosity.  We quite literally couldn't have done it without you.

So what's next?

Our campaign continues to run for the next three days - until 4pm on Tuesday, 30 September. Anything that comes in at this point will be much appreciated as we have plenty of costs to cover outside of what we've fundraised for. So please consider sharing our details with anyone who might be supportive. 

We are actively in pre-production right now and will begin filming 10 - 12 of October, so less than two weeks away. It's been a very busy time!

Our cast and crew would like to thank everyone who has donated so far and to thank those who attended our launch event at Lumière Cinemas. We have been blown away by the level of support - we really appreciate it!

At the launch, we ended up clearing $3000 in ticket sales plus $640 on the raffle - with a great big thanks going out to all of the local businesses that supported us with vouchers:

Twiggi Hair , Lumière Cinemas, Clink Restaurant & Bar Utopia Ice She Universe and of course Top Dog Theatre - we are so grateful for your support! 

Three weeks are left in our fundraising campaign and we're already at $10,875 (once we deposit the launch funds) with 22 days left and another $4125 to raise in this all or nothing format. 

We'll keep on keeping on to ensure we reach our target and then some. Please feel free to share our campaign links with anyone you think might be keen to support this beautiful short film.
